Privacy Policy

National Cleaning Directory is operated by PrecisionClean 360, a trade name of 16553931 CANADA INC. (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the directory, claim or manage a listing, submit an inquiry, or contact us.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account and claim information, including your name, email address, business role, company website and verification details.
• Business-profile information, including contact details, hours, service areas, descriptions, logos, photographs and articles.
• Inquiry information, including your name, email address, optional telephone number and message.
• Administrative communications, package requests and other information you choose to send us.

Information collected during use

• Basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, browser information, authentication records and request timestamps.
• With analytics permission, a random session identifier and events such as profile views and website, telephone or map clicks. We use this to provide aggregate listing-performance information. We do not use it for cross-site advertising.

Directory information

Business information may come from business owners, public sources or licensed business-lead data. Public listing information is displayed to help visitors locate cleaning businesses. Owners may claim a listing and request corrections.

How we use information

• Operate, secure and improve the directory.
• Authenticate users, review claims and connect approved owners to listings.
• Publish and maintain business profiles and owner-submitted content.
• Record, route and manage inquiries and measure listing activity.
• Respond to support, privacy and correction requests.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access, and comply with legal obligations.

SMS and mobile communications

We may collect a mobile number when a business owner creates an account, claims a listing, requests verification, contacts National Cleaning Directory, or voluntarily provides a number. When the owner separately consents to SMS, we may use that number for listing verification, account communications, directory-related communications, customer support, and other communications the owner has agreed to receive.

• Reply HELP for assistance.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

SMS consent and mobile-number information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers required to operate the messaging service may process this information on behalf of National Cleaning Directory, subject to this Privacy Policy and appropriate service-provider obligations.

When information is disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, security and email delivery; to the relevant verified business when routing an inquiry; during a corporate transaction; or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Service providers and transfers

Our infrastructure includes cloud application hosting and storage providers and Supabase for owner authentication. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States or other locations used by our service providers. Those locations may have different privacy laws.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including operating listings and accounts, resolving disputes, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information associated with you, withdraw consent where applicable, request a listing correction, or change analytics preferences through the “Privacy choices” link in the footer. Some information may be retained where legally required or necessary to protect the service.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights where the applicable law and statutory thresholds apply. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, we do not currently provide a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out. We will honour legally required browser-based privacy signals if those practices change.

Children

The directory is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
