Who will come to the home?

Ask whether the cleaner is an employee, contractor or owner and whether the same person normally returns. Find out how replacements are handled and what screening or training the company uses.

What does a normal visit include?

Request a room-by-room list. Ask specifically about beds, dishes, baseboards, blinds, inside appliances and interior windows. These are common sources of mismatched expectations.

How are access and problems handled?

Discuss keys, codes, alarms, pets and arrival windows. Ask what to do if something is missed or damaged and how quickly concerns should be reported. A calm, direct policy is a good sign.

What changes the price?

Ask about first-visit charges, deep cleaning, extra time, clutter, cancellations and add-ons. The goal is not the cheapest answer. It is a price you understand and a service the cleaner can deliver consistently.
